Drummondville Challenger Entry List Storylines

Michael Zheng Eyes Direct Australian Open Entry

Michael Zheng arrives ranked No. 101 after qualifying for three Grand Slams in 2026 and reaching the third round at Wimbledon and the US Open. The two-time NCAA singles champion is knocking on the Top 100 door, and another strong Challenger performance could strengthen his chances of avoiding Australian Open qualifying.

Duncan Chan Returns With Unfinished Business

Canadian Duncan Chan reached the 2025 Drummondville final before losing to Daniil Glinka 6-4, 6-2. Now back through the College Accelerator program, Chan joins countrymen Liam Draxl and Alexis Galarneau in the field. Draxl was also a Winnipeg Challenger finalist earlier this season. Canadian interest should be strong.

Darwin Blanch and Michael Mmoh: Here We Go Again?

Darwin Blanch defeated Michael Mmoh in three sets to win September’s Tiburon Challenger, after eliminating Zheng in the semifinals. All three Americans are entered in Drummondville, following their scheduled appearances at Knoxville the previous week. Their results in Tennessee could tell us plenty about their chances in Canada.
