Guangzhou Open Entry List
The 2026 Guangzhou Open entry list promises another deep WTA 250 field to China for the closing stretch of the Asian Swing.
Paula Badosa, Katerina Siniakova, Magda Linette, and Xinyu Wang headline a main-draw list with plenty of experience, while several younger players arrive looking to make noise.
The WTA 250 event runs Oct. 26 through Nov. 1 on outdoor hard courts at the Nansha International Tennis Center.

Three Guangzhou Open Entry List Storylines
Paula Badosa Brings the Biggest Name
Paula Badosa immediately jumps off this entry list. When healthy and playing confidently, she owns the kind of first-strike tennis that can overwhelm a WTA 250 field.
Guangzhou could give Badosa a chance to finish the Asian Swing with a deep run and valuable momentum before the season winds down.
Xinyu Wang Gets a Home-Court Opportunity
Xinyu Wang should have plenty of support playing at home in China. Her athleticism and ability to redirect pace make her dangerous on a hard court, and this field gives her a legitimate chance to contend.
A strong week in Guangzhou would be a terrific way for Wang to close the Asian portion of her schedule.
The Alternates Could Change Everything
This is already a solid field, but the alternate list makes it even more interesting. Sofia Kenin, Eva Lys, Jil Teichmann, and Claire Liu are all waiting for openings.
Late withdrawals are common this time of year, so the Guangzhou draw could look considerably different by the time first-round play begins.
