Taiwan Santaizi Challenger Entry List storylines

Coleman Wong looks to rebound from Guangzhou final loss

Wong reached the Guangzhou Challenger final on Oct. 25, firing 25 aces before falling to Tristan Schoolkate 4-6, 7-6(3), 6-4. He also advanced to the Taipei semifinals in 2025, losing to James Duckworth.

The Hong Kong standout returns with another opportunity to convert his strong hardcourt form into a championship.

Yoshihito Nishioka returns to defend his title

Nishioka defeated James Duckworth 7-5, 7-6(5) to capture the 2025 Taipei championship. However, a troublesome left shoulder kept the Japanese veteran out for much of 2026 before his return in September.

The defending champion will look to regain momentum at a tournament where he won five straight matches last November.

Térence Atmane brings ATP Tour form to Taipei

Atmane reached the Almaty ATP 250 quarterfinals last week, defeating Rinky Hijikata and Mattia Bellucci before losing 6-4, 6-4 to Daniil Medvedev.

The Frenchman enters Taipei atop the initial acceptance list, looking to build on his recent tour-level success.
