2026 Wuhan Open Entry List: Sabalenka, Swiatek, Rybakina Top WTA 1000 Field
The 2026 Wuhan Open entry list features nearly every major name on the WTA Tour, with Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, and Amanda Anisimova among the players entered for the October 12-18 WTA 1000 event in China.
Wuhan is played on outdoor hard courts and represents one of the biggest stops of the Asian swing.
The field also includes Mirra Andreeva, Madison Keys, Jessica Pegula, Naomi Osaka, Karolina Muchova, Jasmine Paolini, Belinda Bencic, Marta Kostyuk, and Ekaterina Alexandrova.

Sabalenka, Swiatek and Rybakina Headline Wuhan
There is no shortage of star power at the top of this field.
Sabalenka, Swiatek and Rybakina give Wuhan three of the biggest names in women’s tennis, while Gauff, Anisimova, Keys and Pegula add significant American strength to the tournament.
With a WTA 1000 title and major ranking points available, Wuhan should again have the depth of a second-week Grand Slam field.
Osaka and Muchova Add More Hard-Court Firepower
Naomi Osaka and Karolina Muchova are two more names who immediately stand out in a hard-court tournament.
Osaka’s first-strike game makes her dangerous whenever conditions reward aggressive tennis, while Muchova provides one of the most varied all-court games on the WTA Tour.
Add Bencic, Alexandrova, Kalinskaya and Kostyuk, and there are dangerous players scattered well beyond the obvious championship contenders.
Young Talent Runs Deep
Wuhan also features several of the tour’s emerging names.
Mirra Andreeva and Iva Jovic are entered, while Alexandra Eala, Sara Bejlek and Nikola Bartunkova add further youth to an already deep field.
That gives Wuhan an interesting mix of established Grand Slam champions, current contenders and players still trying to establish themselves near the top of the women’s game.
The Wuhan Open player list remains subject to change until the tournament draw is released.
