Alex Eala vs Amanda Anisimova Predictions

Best Prediction: Over 21.5 (-108 at Polymarket)

Amanda Anisimova has the bigger name and the stronger overall hard-court résumé, but the numbers suggest Alex Eala is more than capable of making this a serious fight.

Eala owns a remarkable 7-2 record against Top-10 opponents over the last 52 weeks, including a 9-4 career mark against the game’s elite.

She’s also won eight of her last 10 matches.

Anisimova brings plenty of firepower of her own. She’s 27-11 on hard courts over the last 52 weeks and averages 3.8 aces per match, compared with just 1.2 for Eala.

Her pressure-point numbers are also stronger, while her 1.912 Match Efficiency is well ahead of Eala’s 1.581.

The American’s ability to shorten points with her serve and big groundies is the biggest obstacle Eala has to overcome.

But Eala has advantages that make the Over 21.5 games attractive.

Eala creates 0.92 break points per game compared with 0.81 for Anisimova, owns a superior 1.339 Dominance Ratio, and has won 61.5% of her tiebreaks compared with just 45.5% for Anisimova.

There’s also the crowd; Anisimova might be American, but Eala has a strong following of her own, and Eala feeds of her Filipino fanbase like a pro.

With the match priced at 21.5 games (-108 at Polymarket), I’m expecting a competitive battle, and both players have multiple ways to contribute to a long match.

Eala’s ability to hang with elite opponents, combined with Anisimova’s serve-first game, makes three sets very much in play.

Even if Anisimova ultimately has too much firepower, Eala has shown enough against Top-10 competition to push her deep into this match.

Prediction: Alex Eala vs. Amanda Anisimova Over 21.5 Games (-108)
