Phil Naessens has finally updated his 2026 Men’s Hard Court Power Rankings!

These are forward-looking hard court power rankings based on current form, playing style, projected performance, and title-winning potential, and not the official ATP Rankings.

These rankings reflect who is best positioned to succeed on hard courts today and over the coming months.

Rafael Jodar leaped into Phil’s Top 10 while Jack Draper tumbled out of the Top 10 after his first-round National Bank Open loss.

How We Compiled Our Rankings

These rankings are not based solely on ATP rankings. Instead, they reflect who I believe is most likely to succeed on hard courts right now.

The rankings are compiled using a combination of:

• Recent hard-court results over the past 12 months
• Overall career hard-court winning percentage
• Success at Grand Slams, Masters 1000, ATP 500, and ATP 250 events
• Wins against Top 20 and Top 50 opponents on hard courts
• Current form, health, and momentum
• Serve and return effectiveness on hard courts
• Championship pedigree and ability to perform under pressure
• Projected success during the upcoming hard-court swing
