Storylines To Watch

Jasmine Paolini Leads Competitive Field

Jasmine Paolini headlines the tournament as one of the top players in the field heading into the Wimbledon season. Her clay court season was a disaster, and she’ll be looking to regain her footing during the grass court season.

Former Champions Return To Grass

Madison Keys, Barbora Krejcikova, and Daria Kasatkina all return with proven grass-court pedigree. Keys already owns an Eastbourne title, while Krejcikova remains one of the most dangerous all-court players in the draw when healthy.

Maya Joint Tries To End Losing Streak

Defending champion Maya Joint has dropped 10 consecutive matches heading into the grass court season.

Grass could provide the perfect reset for the Australian, who produced the best week of her career at this tournament last season.

Looking Ahead

The Eastbourne Open remains one of the final and most important Wimbledon warm-up events on the WTA calendar.

Qualifying, wildcard announcements, and the official draw will be released closer to the start of the tournament.
