Friday’s Indian Wells second-round results delivered one of the most dramatic days of the tournament so far.

Several top players survived tough three-set battles in windy desert conditions, but the biggest headline came when Marton Fucsovics stunned seeded Italian Lorenzo Musetti.

Fucsovics defeated Musetti 7-5, 6-1, producing the biggest upset of the day and removing another seed from the men’s draw.

The women’s draw also produced a major surprise when rising Filipina star Alexandra Eala battled past Dayana Yastremska in three sets.

Meanwhile, top names including Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and Jannik Sinner all advanced, although several had to rally after dropping the opening set.

Wind once again played a major role throughout the day in Indian Wells, creating long rallies and unpredictable momentum swings across multiple matches.
