2026 Vienna Open Entry List Features Sinner, Zverev and Medvedev

The 2026 Vienna Open entry list is shaping up to have one of the strongest ATP 500 fields of the fall.

Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev headline an entry list loaded with Top 20 talent, including Daniil Medvedev, Frances Tiafoe, Alex de Minaur, Jakub Mensik, and Learner Tien.

With plenty of ranking points still available late in the season, Vienna should have no shortage of meaningful matches from the opening round.

Three Vienna Open Entry List Storylines

Sinner and Zverev Lead a Brutal Field

You don’t normally see this kind of depth at an ATP 500. Sinner and Zverev sit at the top, but there aren’t many comfortable places to land underneath them. Medvedev, Tiafoe, de Minaur, Mensik, Tien, and Paul make this look much closer to a Masters draw than a routine 500.

Tien and Mensik Are Right in the Middle of It

Learner Tien and Jakub Mensik aren’t sneaking up on anybody anymore. Both have climbed into the Top 15 and now get another chance to test themselves against a loaded field. Vienna’s conditions should reward clean ball striking, and these two have enough game to make life miserable for anybody.

Berrettini Could Be Waiting for an Opening

Matteo Berrettini sitting second on the alternate list immediately caught my eye. At No. 47, he’s outside the initial field, but withdrawals are part of late-season tennis. It probably won’t take much movement for Berrettini to get in, and nobody will be thrilled to see his name appear in the draw.
