Jinan Open Entry List: Kecmanović, Macháč, Čilić Headline Strong CH 125 Field

The Jinan Open entry list brings a strong Challenger 125 field to China, with Miomir Kecmanović, Tomáš Macháč, Marin Čilić, and Martin Landaluce among the biggest names entered in the hardcourt event.

The tournament features a 21-player main draw entry list, with several experienced ATP Tour regulars joined by younger players looking to make another move up the rankings.

Kecmanović Leads the Jinan Entry List

Miomir Kecmanović enters as the highest-ranked player on the initial list at No. 60.

The Serbian has spent much of his career competing at ATP Tour level and immediately gives Jinan one of the more recognizable names on the Challenger calendar.

He is joined near the top of the list by Martin Landaluce, one of Spain’s most promising young players, and Australian veteran James Duckworth.

Macháč and Čilić Add ATP Experience

The field gets considerably stronger with Tomáš Macháč and former US Open champion Marin Čilić also entered.

Macháč has the athleticism and aggressive baseline game to be dangerous on hard courts, while Čilić remains one of the most accomplished players competing at Challenger level whenever he enters these events.

Veteran Frenchman Adrian Mannarino adds another experienced hardcourt player to the field.

Strong Australian Presence in Jinan

Australia is well represented with Duckworth, Rinky Hijikata, Aleksandar Vukic, Adam Walton, Dane Sweeny, and Christopher O’Connell all on the entry list.

That gives the tournament a sizable group of players comfortable on quicker surfaces and capable of making deep runs.

Wu Yibing and Bu Yunchaokete Lead Chinese Hopes

Chinese fans will have plenty to follow with Yunchaokete Bu and Yibing Wu both entered.

Wu has already shown he can compete successfully at ATP level when healthy, while Bu continues to establish himself as one of China’s leading men’s players.

Hong Kong’s Coleman Wong is also in the field.

The Jinan field has an interesting mix of established ATP players, experienced hardcourt specialists, and younger names trying to climb the rankings.

With Kecmanović, Macháč, Čilić, Landaluce, Mannarino, Wu, and Bu all entered, this should be one of the stronger Challenger 125 fields on the Asian swing.
