Jessica Pegula Leads Loaded 2026 WTA Singapore Tennis Open Entry List September 20 Update!
Editors Note 9-20-2026: Singapore has been hit by nine withdrawals, with Jessica Pegula (fatigue), Sorana Cirstea (calf), Anastasia Potapova (left knee), and Janice Tjen (right wrist) pulling out alongside Diana Shnaider, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Sara Bejlek, Ann Li, and Clara Tauson, whose withdrawal reasons have not been disclosed.
Jessica Pegula headlines a deep WTA 500 field for the 2026 Singapore Tennis Open Entry List, with Mirra Andreeva, Amanda Anisimova and Diana Shnaider also among the early entries.
Pegula, currently ranked No. 3 in the world, sits atop an entry list that features three Top-10 players and considerable depth throughout the field.
Andreeva enters at No. 5, while Anisimova is ranked No. 10. Shnaider, Sorana Cirstea, and Alexandra Eala round out the first six names on the current list.

Alexandra Eala Adds Regional Interest
Alexandra Eala should be one of the biggest attractions when the tour arrives in Singapore.
The Filipina has climbed to No. 18 in the rankings and has become one of the most closely followed players on tour, particularly throughout Southeast Asia.
Singapore also features Indonesian standout Janice Tjen, currently ranked No. 35, adding another notable regional presence to the tournament.
Plenty of Depth Beyond the Top Seeds
The quality of the Singapore field extends well beyond the projected seeded positions.
Ekaterina Alexandrova, Elise Mertens, Anastasia Potapova, and former Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova are all entered.
Maria Sakkari, Donna Vekic, Xinyu Wang, and Clara Tauson are also scheduled to compete, creating the possibility of several difficult opening-round matchups once the draw is released.
Poland’s Maja Chwalinska is another name worth watching after climbing to No. 21 in the rankings.
