Coleman Wong Leads Guangzhou Entry List

Coleman Wong enters Guangzhou as the highest-ranked player on the entry list at No. 94, narrowly ahead of Aleksandar Vukic at No. 95.

Wong is joined near the top by Christopher O’Connell, who returns to Guangzhou after winning the tournament in 2024.

Yibing Wu and Yunchaokete Bu give the home crowd two prominent Chinese players to follow. Wu enters at No. 113, while Bu is currently ranked No. 124.

Lloyd Harris, Taro Daniel and Bernard Tomic Add Experience

Plenty of experience sits farther down the Guangzhou field.

Former World No. 31 Lloyd Harris is entered at No. 139, while longtime ATP Tour regular Taro Daniel sits at No. 160.

Bernard Tomic is also in the main draw field at No. 179 as the Australian continues his climb back through the Challenger Tour.

Nikoloz Basilashvili, who reached a career-high ranking of No. 16, adds another familiar name to a main draw that includes players from throughout Asia, Australia and Europe.

Young Players Worth Watching in Guangzhou

Several younger players also add some upside to the Guangzhou field.

Austria’s Joel Schwaerzler is entered at No. 171, while Italian Federico Cina sits at No. 181.

Both are attempting to continue their progression through the Challenger level against a field loaded with experienced hard-court players.
