Montreux Nestlé Open Entry List: Masarova, Zidansek and Burel Lead Strong WTA 125 Field

The 2026 Montreux Nestlé Open entry list is shaping up to be an intriguing WTA 125 event, with Rebeka Masarova, Tamara Zidansek and Clara Burel among the leading names entered for the September clay-court tournament.

The WTA 125 event takes place in Montreux, Switzerland, from September 7-13, 2026, giving players another opportunity to compete on clay late in the season.

The current Montreux Nestlé Open entry list features 24 players and includes a mixture of established tour veterans, former Top 100 players and emerging competitors.

Read on for the Montreux Nestlé Open entry list, beginning Sept. 7, 2026.

Key Montreux Nestlé Open Entry List Storylines

Masarova Leads the Field on Home Soil

Rebeka Masarova gives the tournament a particularly interesting headliner as the Swiss player returns to compete in her home country. Masarova has reached a career-high No. 62 and has been a regular presence on the WTA 125 circuit, reaching three finals at the level.

With the tournament being played in Switzerland, Masarova should be one of the players to watch when the action begins.

Zidansek Brings Serious Clay-Court Credentials

Tamara Zidansek is another major name in the field. The Slovenian has spent years competing at the highest levels of the sport and has a particular affinity for clay. Zidansek reached a career-high No. 22 in 2022 and has also made multiple deep runs on the surface.

Her experience makes her one of the biggest threats in Montreux.

Burel Adds Another Former Top 50 Player

Clara Burel gives the field another player with significant WTA Tour experience. The Frenchwoman reached a career-high No. 42 in 2024 and spent much of the last several seasons competing at the WTA level.

Her presence gives Montreux another proven name capable of making a deep run.

Plenty of Experience Behind the Top Three

The depth doesn’t stop with Masarova, Zidansek and Burel. Mona Barthel, Fiona Ferro, Dalma Galfi, Julia Grabher, Marina Bassols Ribera and Despina Papamichail all bring substantial professional experience to the field.

That collection of veterans should make the Montreux draw difficult to navigate, particularly on clay.

Emerging Players Add More Depth

The field also includes several players looking to take the next step, including Lola Radivojevic, Lucie Havlickova, Oksana Selekhmeteva, Anastasiia Sobolieva, Alice Tubello and Ayana Akli.

With 24 players currently listed, the tournament has plenty of room for additional names and changes before the draw is finalized.

For now, though, Masarova, Zidansek and Burel give this WTA 125 a very nice foundation, while the depth behind them makes Montreux one to keep an eye on.
