Taylor Fritz will return to the 2026 BOSS Open Entry List in Stuttgart looking to defend the grass-court title he won last season after defeating Alexander Zverev in the 2025 final.
Fritz headlines a strong preliminary field that also includes Zverev, Ben Shelton, Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe, Matteo Berrettini, and Nick Kyrgios.

2026 Boss Open Preliminary Entry List
The early entry list shows a heavy American presence as players begin shifting focus away from the European clay swing and toward the faster grass courts ahead of Wimbledon.
Fritz, Shelton, Paul, Learner Tien, Tiafoe, Brandon Nakashima, Alex Michelsen, and Sebastian Korda are all entered.
Zverev is set to lead the German contingent in front of the home crowd after reaching last year’s final in Stuttgart.
Former Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios has also accepted a wild card as he continues his attempted return to the ATP Tour.
