Medvedev and Rublev Give Hangzhou Star Power
Daniil Medvedev is the obvious centerpiece of the field.
The former US Open champion remains one of the most recognizable hard-court players on the ATP Tour and gives Hangzhou a legitimate marquee name at the top of the draw.
Andrey Rublev adds another accomplished hard-court player, giving the tournament a strong one-two combination heading into the Asian swing.
Behind them, the field has plenty of depth.
Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Matteo Arnaldi, Alex Michelsen and Karen Khachanov are all capable of making deep runs at this level, while Marin Cilic brings another former Grand Slam champion into the mix.
Thanasi Kokkinakis is also entered using a protected ranking.
