Quentin Folliot match-fixing ban

The Quentin Folliot match-fixing ban is official.

French tennis player Quentin Folliot has been suspended for 20 years after an International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) investigation found he committed 27 breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP).

In addition to the ban, Folliot was fined $70,000 and ordered to repay corrupt payments totaling more than $44,000.

What the ITIA says happened

The ITIA described Folliot as a “central figure” in a match-fixing network and alleged he recruited other players as part of a broader corruption effort tied to a betting syndicate.

Folliot denied 30 charges related to 11 matches played between 2022 and 2024, but an independent hearing officer ultimately upheld 27 of those charges.

The proven breaches included allegations such as contriving match outcomes, accepting money not to give best effort, offering money to other players to fix matches, providing inside information, and failing to cooperate with the investigation.

Hearing, ruling, and the ban end date

The ITIA said a remote hearing was held on Oct. 20–21, 2025 before independent Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer Amani Khalifa, who upheld 27 of the 30 charges. Three charges linked to a January 2024 doubles match were dismissed.

Because Folliot has been provisionally suspended since May 17, 2024, that time is credited toward the sanction. The suspension runs through May 16, 2044 (subject to repayment of outstanding amounts).

What the suspension means

During the ban, Folliot is prohibited from playing, coaching at, or attending any tennis event authorized or sanctioned by ITIA members, including events connected to the ATP, WTA, ITF, and the Grand Slams, as well as national federations covered under the program.

Wider investigation

The ITIA described Folliot as the sixth player sanctioned in this investigation, following sanctions involving Jaimee Floyd Angele, Paul Valsecchi, Luc Fomba, Lucas Bouquet, and Enzo Rimoli.

Quick context

The ITIA noted Folliot reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 488 in August 2022.
