The ATP Tour has confirmed the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals, scheduled for December 17–21 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The season-ending event brings together the eight best male players aged 20 and under, spotlighting the next generation of tennis stars in a high-intensity, fast-paced format.

The tournament retains its innovative, fan-friendly approach while introducing new rules to enhance pace and excitement:

Best-of-5 Tie-break Sets: Each set is first to 4 games, 2-game margin. Tie-break at 3–3 (first to 7, win by 2).
No-Ad Scoring: All games use a deciding point at deuce, with the server choosing the service box.

No change of ends after the first game.
Players sit for 90 seconds after three games, again if the set reaches 3–2, and at the end of the set.
Tie-breaks: Change ends every six points.
End-of-set sit-downs reduced to 90 seconds (from 120).

3-minute on-court warm-up.
Ball change every 7 games.
Serve shot clock: up to 8 seconds between first and second serve.
Point clock: 15 seconds for rallies under three shots, standard 25 seconds for longer points.
Free fan movement: first three games unrestricted, then mostly unrestricted except baseline-view areas.
Lower umpire chair to improve spectator visibility.
