Scoring Tweaks
- Best-of-5 Tie-break Sets: Each set is first to 4 games, 2-game margin. Tie-break at 3–3 (first to 7, win by 2).
- No-Ad Scoring: All games use a deciding point at deuce, with the server choosing the service box.
Changeover Adjustments
- No change of ends after the first game.
- Players sit for 90 seconds after three games, again if the set reaches 3–2, and at the end of the set.
- Tie-breaks: Change ends every six points.
- End-of-set sit-downs reduced to 90 seconds (from 120).
On-Court Innovations
- 3-minute on-court warm-up.
- Ball change every 7 games.
- Serve shot clock: up to 8 seconds between first and second serve.
- Point clock: 15 seconds for rallies under three shots, standard 25 seconds for longer points.
- Free fan movement: first three games unrestricted, then mostly unrestricted except baseline-view areas.
- Lower umpire chair to improve spectator visibility.
