Week 2 WNBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Advice

WNBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Advice-Crush and Rush News-WNBA-Phil Naessens

We’ve wrapped up the first weekend of the 2025 WNBA Fantasy Basketball season, and what a week it was.

While it may not be time to panic, it is good to discover what players are available on your WNBA Fantasy Basketball League Waiver Wires.

Check out what Fantasy Basketball nuggets Fantasy Phil has found on the waiver wire for Week 2 of the WNBA Fantasy Basketball season.

Week 2 WNBA Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Suggestions

Myisha Hines-Allen, Dallas Wings 20%

The Dallas Wings have three games this week, which should mean 80 minutes of points, rebounds, assists, and blocks from Myisha Hines-Allen.

The Wings forward/center stuffed the stat sheets in the Wings’ home opening loss to the Minnesota Lynx. She is probably sitting on your waiver wire- Hines-Allen bullied Minnesota inside, and has nice matchups against Seattle, Minnesota, and Atlanta to exploit during Week 2.

Lexie Hull, Indiana Fever 15%

The Indiana Fever has blowout potential twice across three games this week. That means sitting on your waiver wire is 65+ minutes worth of points, rebounds, and steals from Fever guard Lexie Hull.

Reserves are a hard call for a WNBA Fantasy Basketball manager to make, but not for Hull. Indiana smashed Chicago for nine points, nine rebounds, and two steals in 23 minutes. Hull could be a boon this week with a pair of games with Atlanta and one with New York.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa, Connecticut Sun 9%

The Connecticut Sun has three games this week. Sun forward Olivia Nelson-Ododa is in a good spot to help you with points and rebounds in Week 2.

Playing alongside Tina Charles puts her in potential double-double situations, which would be a boon in any league format. She tallied 18 points with eight rebounds in 24 minutes against Washington and should eat over 60 minutes against Vegas, Minnesota, and Atlanta.

Bridget Carleton, Minnesota Lynx 33%

The Minnesota Lynx have two games this week. Lynx forward Bridget Carleton started her 2025 campaign slowly, but she can still help you this week and beyond.

Carleton averages 30+ minutes for the Lynx and typically makes valuable use of her time. She is a versatile scorer who drops between three and five dimes per game and grabs roughly 5-7. I’ll take 60 minutes of this production this week at home against the Wings and the Sun.

Odyssey Sims, LA Sparks 18%

The LA Sparks have three games this week. That’s good news for WNBA Fantasy Basketball owners because Odyssey Sims is widely available and stuffs the stat sheet on roughly 30 minutes per night.

Sims will score between five and 10 points per night, but she’ll also snag rebounds and already averages six dimes per game playing uptempo basketball for the Sparks. You’ll likely get 90 minutes worth of multiple category counting stats this week when the Suns and the Lakers play the Phoenix, Golden State, and the Chicago.
